Troubleshooting

Most problems can be solved in a few minutes. Before you contact support, please take a quick look here — in most cases you'll find the solution in the following steps.

The app can't find my ring

Don't worry — this is one of the most common reasons users contact our support, and it's usually fixed quickly.

  1. Fully charge the ring
Before the ring can be paired, it needs to be fully activated once. To do this, place the ring in the charging case, connect the charging case to a power source and charge the ring for at least 30 minutes. During charging, the ring should blink in the charging case.
  2. Check Bluetooth
The most common reason the app can't find the ring is missing Bluetooth permissions. Please check:
    • Is Bluetooth enabled on the smartphone?
    • Has the MYnextRING app been granted the required permissions?
    • Are location and Bluetooth access allowed?
  3. Check permissions
On your smartphone, go to: Settings → Apps → MYnextRING app → grant all permissions. Only then can MYnextRING reliably capture data, recognize the ring and use all features fully.
  4. Restart the app
Close the app completely and open it again. Then try to pair the ring once more.
  5. Airplane mode trick
If the ring still isn't found:
    • Enable airplane mode
    • Wait a few seconds
    • Disable airplane mode again
    • Let Bluetooth reconnect automatically
    • Pair again
This simple step resolves many connection problems instantly.
I can't sign in — what can I do?

If you have entered your email address and the confirmation code correctly, but the app reports that your account cannot be found, the cause is often the app cache. Clearing the cache removes outdated data and rebuilds the sign-in.

Android

  1. Open your smartphone's settings
  2. Select “Apps”
  3. Look for the MYnextRING app
  4. Tap “Storage”
  5. Select “Clear cache”
  6. Restart the app

iPhone (iOS)

  1. Open Settings
  2. Select General
  3. Tap iPhone Storage
  4. Select the MYnextRING app
  5. Tap “Offload App” (the cache is cleared, documents are kept)
Tip: In most cases, sign-in works again without any problems immediately after clearing the cache or offloading the app.
My ring isn't measuring any data

If your ring doesn't show current data or measurements are missing, reconnecting the ring and app often helps. Please proceed as follows:

  1. Unpair the ring in the app
  2. Close the app completely
  3. Pair the ring again

Also make sure that the ring sits correctly on your finger and the sensors rest against the inside of the finger.

My ring's battery drains unusually fast

Battery life can temporarily change in the first few days after setup or after updates. Please check the following points:

  • Fully charge the ring for at least 3 hours
  • Check whether the ring blinks during charging
  • Use a different charging cable if possible
  • Try a different USB port or power adapter

If the behavior doesn't improve after several charge cycles, please contact our support.
